Default Austin Powers Trilogy, Sold Seperately...

i was just on inetvideo.com and they are selling the individual movies for $14.99 each, in slim cases (just broke up box sets, obviously). handy info for those that want single movies.

They should buy the region B releases instead... with proper slip cases.

The first isn't out yet, but when it comes it will be the uncut version as well (and not the cut US release).

Speaking of iNetVideo......

I just received the Austin Powers Trilogy from iNetVideo (Canada). The packaging is reversed from what I'm used to. When you look at the spine, normally the front cover is to the right. But on Canadian Austin it's to the left. Is this how all Canadian blu-ray box cases are? Or did I just get a freak pressing?

Perhaps it is a Canadian thing in general. My 2005 Wizard of Oz three disc dvd set also has the front cover to the left of the spine. I doubt it was a freak pressing and probably the norm for it.

I would like to know as well. I remember seeing an interview with Myers saying the US theatrical version is his preferred version. I just never heard about the cut scenes.

I saw the 3 individual Austin Powers movies today in my local BestBuy in standard Blu-Ray cases, not the thin packs. I think two of them were marked $14.99 and one was $22.99 for some reason. When I got home I checked bestbuy.com and they are not anywhere to be found there??? I would prefer to buy online, even if it's for store pick-up so I can earn frequent flyer miles.

Roqdawg

I saw them today as well with a number of other releases on sale sans slipcover. All were on a new display in the front of the store. Forgot to take a pic for the site.
