Thanks for the news, I wasn't aware there was a sequel. I loved the original and the first expansion on the PC. I have the 2nd expansion, but it's been collecting dust on my shelf. I'll have to load it up before the sequel.

http://arstechnica.com/journals/thum...qore-exclusive
Taken from Arstechnica: "With the February 10th launch date of F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin drawing ever closer, anticipation to sample the supernatural FPS is starting to build. On the Playstation Network and Xbox Live, the demo is scheduled to arrive on January 22, but it's been revealed that certain PS3 owners will have access to the demo a week earlier. According to the French version of Project Origin's website, PS3 gamers who also happen to subscribe to Qorethe subscription-based online magazine on the Playstation Networkwill actually have access to the demo as of January 15. "Americans lucky to be subscribers to the magazine QORE will in turn benefit from the PS3 demo on 15 January," the site claims. Of course, this exclusive offer is only available to gamers in North America, as that's the only continent that has access to the magazine. PC gamers, on the other hand, still need to wait for an official demo announcement. "We will keep you informed of the date of the PC demo," the site says. This, of course, isn't the first time that Qore subscribers have been given access to impressive exclusive content; since its launch in June 2008, the magazine has given players the opportunity to enroll in closed betas for titles like SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation and Home, as well as the ability to download various demos well before the general public was able to. It's implied that the early access will be granted to yearly subscribers as opposed to those who just want to buy the latest issue of the magazine, so it seems safe to assume that not too many people will be willing to shell out $24.99 in order to play the game a week earlier than everyone else." Thats cool for everybody who subscibes to Qore, I probaly should but I get Playstation Magizine which give me codes for Qore for free. I am really looking forward to this game. |
