Halloween (2007) Blu-ray Problem - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys. First time poster. Love Blu-ray. Might post here more often.

I have a question. I bought the remake of Halloween on Blu-ray today and I just put it in about 15 minutes ago to watch it. Well, after the loading screen with the blood and the Myers mask, the disc won't play. It just freezes.

I shut off the player and tried again and it did the same thing.

Anyone else have this problem? Anyone that can help me?

I just watched this last week and it played flawlessly. Sounds like you have a bad disc.

Are you up to date with the latest version of firmware on your Blu-ray player? I would check this first, but if so then you may have a bad disc.

Well, I tried it a third time and it worked? I'm confused. Thanks anyways.

I did download the new firmware in July, but I see that it was updated in December. So I'm gonna download that anyway.

Either firmware or a bummed disc....
