The repetition would not have been so annoying if it weren't for the glichey controls.

Also, the kill 100 Templars for NO REASON will be taken care of with the trophy system, but I'm still not sure I want to put myself through all that again. It would be cool if they released a trophy patch to get us psyched for the 2nd one.

I enjoyed it a lot ,specially when i found out that i could kill the beggars and most of all the lunatics (the ones who keep shoving you when u pass near them ) they were both really annoying

I never finished it, but I thought the game was worth the cash ($39.99 release day thanks to Fry's).

The atmosphere was very enjoyable (if you like that time period). It would be nice if there was a point to collecting flags and such the 2nd time around.

I avoided Assasine's Creed like the plague. I could tell the game was going to be crowned the most repetitive game so far.

I figure the only people who got this game was for the parkor or the middle ages interest.

That is sweet! I enjoyed the first game as well. I know i did not mind the repetitiveness of the game since it was fun. They had a alot of good ideas with the free running. I'd like to see if they can build off the they did in AC1. If AC2 is not as repetitive, it would be awesome.

+1. EDIT: I thought the 1st game had promise but fell short of the hype. If AC2 is less repetitive and better story progression it could be what we all hoped AC1 could have been.

Wow. It wasn't that horrible, actually to me it wasn't horrible at all, just a bit repetitive, I will be keeping my eye out for 2.

I agree with you. If AC2 is made with the good aspects of the first one it could be a good game. It was linear, but it was still fun to explore the cities. THe figthing can be improved upon to be more intense and epic. One hit kills are only so fun for so long. Though i was entertained by the simple repetitive nature of the game, it did not have a lot of replay value for me. I sold the game when i was done with it. The free running aspect of it was cool, yet could be improved upon. They do need to make a story that is not so repetitive.

wow, im shocked they are making this since the first was was pretty bad. i mean graphics and gameplay are good, well gameplay good for the first hour or two. my biggest problem with it was that it had the worst ending to any game ever made!

I remember being pretty hyped for the original... and it flat-out sucked. I was shocked at how repetitive it was. When you played the first level, you'd played them all. It fell way short of what it could (and should) have been IMO.

Saying that, I'm interested to see if they can improve with this one. I still find the premise and the time period of it pretty interesting, but I won't hold my breath.

I agree with this post only because we have the same tastes in gaming. Once I played Uncharted, I couldn't go back. I bought into the Assassin's Creed hype and it failed to deliver. It tried too hard to become an in-depth Prince of Persia.

When you played the first level, you'd played them all. It fell way short of what it could (and should) have been IMO. Saying that, I'm interested to see if they can improve with this one. I still find the premise and the time period of it pretty interesting, but I won't hold my breath.
