Default Need help hooking up my HT (Virgin) :(

receiver - Marantz SR4002
speakers - Polk Audio RM6 5.1 speaker set
bluray - PS3
tv - Samsung Plasma
cable box

need help on how to properly hook them all up together.
currently i have the ps3 and cable box plugged to the receiver inputs and
the receiver output to the tv (all with hdmi cables).

what settings do i put the receiver to get full movie surround sound?
there's sooo many different modes to choose from.

You probably don;t want to choose any modes and let the receiver just play the audio as natively as it can. I'm not sure what Marantz calls it but I have seen Direct and Standard or turn off processing.
