I forgot to put "Unconfirmed" in the thread title, but it has more to do with the fact that I don't know if it'll be a SteelBook or a simple MetalPak.

Found this info:

The Dark Knight - Boîtier Métal - Edition spéciale Fnac - Blu-Ray

Out on February 13th for 30€.

Has anyone ordered from FNAC before? How do they ship and how good is their return policy? Have they previously offered SteelBooks or could this be a MetalPak?

I've ordered from FNAC before but since I'm from France, I don't know how their international shipping is.
Regarding shipping and return policies, I'd say they pack their stuff alright, although I got a 7" Vinyl sent so I have no idea what they use to ship DVDs and Blu-rays.
I might have announced something that isn't true, I just read "Boîtier Métal" and assumed it would be a SteelBook. I'll edit the post when confirmed or not. And they haven't had any SteelBooks before, but given the fact that the movie's been released as a SteelBook in many different countries, you could bet it'd be one in this case as well.

It seems this SteelBook is not exclusive to FNAC. Lots of online stores are carrying it including Amazon.fr. What may be exclusive is the 32 page comic book and 2 photos. I did a comparison of costs between Amazon.fr and FNAC for 3 SteelBooks delivered to US and

FNAC: 24.58 Euro each x 3 + 20.55 Euro = 94.29 Euro = ~ $120 or $40 each.

Amazon.fr: 22.98 Euro each x 3 + 14.70 Euro = 83.64 Euro = ~$107 or $36 each.

Are extras worth $4? I guess that's up to you.

ps. How many more TDK SteelBooks are we going to see?

Probably just an early photo, but the Amazon.FR pic shows the spine reversed (words reading bottom to top instead of top to bottom)... There are several SteelBooks that have this and it looks like crap...

do anyone know what the 3 papers inside the steelbook are used for? they have unique code in each of the papers for every steelbook. but, i dont know french...

Use google.com/translate type what it says on the papers and it will translate it to english

1st (with the big yellow "OFFERT"): That's so you can download your digital copy of The Dark Knight. It took me a while to find it but here's the website you have to go to:

You just enter your code and and go through the process of creating an account and then at the end you have a link to download the movie in .wmv (which I'm doing right now).

2nd (with the red carpet and Warner DVD CLUB.com): That's a promocode you can enter on the website which adds points and after you have a few points, you can get free movies.
Just go to http://www.warnerdvdclub.com/ and make an account. Sadly, you have to be in France to make this work.
But maybe it'll work for your country's Warner DVD Club?

3rd (white paper): it's just a paper for retards telling people to update their Blu-ray player to the latest software.

Finally I got the TDK FNAC exclusive version...it was a long search and again I can give a rarity a good home :happy grin:

It does include:

- Comic Booklet
- 2 photo Collector cards
- a Sleeve (black) where all that stuff is inserted

Apart from that, the Steelbook is of course exact the same as the "Normal" French Steelbook.

I am overly happy I got this for a reasonable price, it is very hard to find.
