Can someone give me the lowdown on Never Say Never Again - Blu-ray Forum

Quick question here, I just started getting into the Bond film series and was noticing that Never Say Never Again is not a true Bond film according to some. Can anyone explain why. I know its coming out on Blu but not even as part of the set(s) currently being released. Any help is appriciated.

Never Say Never Again is basically a remake of Thunderball. The Character is obviously Ian Flemming's James Bond, but the producers of the the rest of the Bond movies were not involved in this production.

so it was a remake, but not done by Fleming then. Makes sense then, would you add it as part of the Bond library?
