And for fans who want to complain about the current tragic "Cheaper"/"Pink Panther"-era Steve Martin...you may be too young to remember, but there WAS a time when Steve Martin was genius--
A magical long-ago time for movies called the "Mid-late 80's".

All Of Me takes the cake for me in showcasing Martin's talent....absolutely hilarious movie!

While "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid" was Martin's first new-Steve "straight" comic role after "The Jerk", and tragically escaped notice...

"The Man With Two Brains" also hit the right mid-point between Old and New Steve, at just the right point at the beginning of the 80's.

Sweet! I loved watching Roxanne when I was younger, and Steve Martin was hilarious! Day one purchase!!

I picked this up and rewatched the first 45 minutes last night. Such a lovely movie with really great writing. Looking forward to finishing it tonight. PQ is pretty decent too.

Just got done watching this. It's been well over 20 years since I first saw it and was very pleasantly surprised by how great it is. I remember being underwhelmed by it but I thoroughly enjoyed it on this viewing. Steve Martin is my favorite comic actor next to Bill Murray. Incredibly charming film. I was surprised by the mediocre transfer score on here along with Hi Def Digest. I thought it looked very good especially for an early blu ray release.

One of the best movies of the 80's. If you don't own the OOP original release, I highly recommend you pre-order that new one. Great, great film.

Is anybody able to confirm if the new Mill Creek VHS slipcover version region free? I have the Mill Creek VHS release of Harry Crumb and that plays fine on my region B player. I already own the previous Sony disc of Roxanne but want to check out this new one for the slightly different PQ. Thanks in advance if anyone can confirm.

I loved this film as a teenager, but watched it again recently and it has not aged well at all. Steve Martin is very good (as always). I was so disappointed!
