Woody Allens's Match Point (French)

Please could anyone confirm that Match Point has English sound without subtitles?

This disk only seems to be available on Amazon.fr.....

Also, the same question regarding Patton, available only at Amazon.de.......

Any comment on picture quality for both films would also be appreciated.

AFAIK....forced French Subs when watched in english.

I made a nice complete reply earlier but it seems to be lost in time, or something...

- Match Point is published by Tf1 Video in France, which means that you are forced to have French subtitles with English audio. It's been reviewed by DVDRama and PQ was granted a very satisfactory 9/10.

- Patton is also available in Belgium and France, and cheaper that Amazon.DE (Belgium import is € 14.99 new from Amazon.FR). Being a Fox international release, it should definitely be possible to watch it with English audio and no subtitles.
You should have no trouble finding out more about PQ quality by reading the review on this site or by googling "patton blu-ray pq quality".

Anyone know if Icon's releases are usually region free?

The two Icon UK releases I have (Man on Wire and Once) are both region-free (film-wise), so chances are probably good for the Oz release. And since it's a Woody Allen film, extras are not an issue!

Are the extras PAL on those two UK releases?

Icon is releasing Crash as well in Australia and I'm wondering what will happen with that.

• I don't personally own Match Point, but it's reported that every Tf1 Video release since 2008 (including Match Point) forces French subtitles with original audio. This means, as DigitalfreakNYC said before, that you won't be able to watch Match Point with no subtitles at all.
  The blu-ray was reviewed by DVDRama and PQ was given a very high grade (9 out of 10).
  
  
• Patton, being a Fox release, can definitely be watched with English audio and no subtitles.
