Zack & Miri bowdlerized title - Blu-ray Forum

I tried googling it but just said its made family friendly blah blah. Does that mean this is the rated version and Zack & Miri make a Porno is the Unrated?

I hope they're both the same versions and are uncut.

After seeing this version (as well as a theater rip)... I can tell you that it is NOT family friendly - so enjoy!

hhaa I seen in in the theatre and loved it, sure it had some disturbing stuff but hey what u expect from the title

at wal mart the cover says zack and miri, but at best buy it says zack and miri make a porno, so am i understanding there is no difference in them excpet the cover?

The Wal*Mart cover is "sanitized".

Odd. My Walmart copy has the porno title on the cover. I guess not every outlet has the same policies, but I'm here in Canada, not Hoth lol

Yes, it is the same movie reguardless of the cover art. Some stores (Walmart, Target) did not want to carry a movie with the word Porno in the title. So the 2 differernt covers. Same thing happened when the movie came out over the summer some newspapers and TV stations did not want to use the word porno, even some movies house. So, to make sure the movie got the needed ad space, they cut the title to use Zack and Miri when the issue came up.

The title is sanitized, but the caption underneath the WalMart cover has more of a double meaning...

I think a similar thing happens with Penn and Tellers BullSh!t - gets an alternate cover when sold in a few locations but the disc contents are identical.

Yes, there is only the one cut, but I'm not sure if anyone is aware of this or not---there are 95 minutes of deleted scenes, which could easily be an entirely different movie. I didn't actually watch them all, however, so I'm not 100% sure.
