Default Favorite Danny Boyle Film

Ok, first time creating a poll thread. Hopefully I don't do too many of these... which those are probably famous last words. :/

Anyways, what's your favorite Danny Boyle film to date?

Filmography:

Shallow Grave (1994)
Trainspotting (1996)
A Life Less Ordinary (1997)
The Beach (2000)
28 Days Later (2002)
Millions (2004)
Sunshine (2007)
Slumdog Millionaire (2008)

As much as I absolutely love 28 Days Later, Millions, and Sunshine... it's hard to beat Slumdog Millionaire.

It's realy a toss up for me between Trainspotting and The Beach. I went with Trainspotting but The Beach was awsome. All are better than Slumdog Millionare (Super overhyped).

i saw the title of this thread and had to post, i didnt even read the post. Trainspotting is eaisly my favorite boyle film, infact its one of my favorite films, an absolute classic. I only owned a handfull of dvds and this was probably my first, i watched it a million times, even before i watched it on dvd i watched it on vhs. I LOVE THIS MOVIE, it really is an amazing film, and who can forget the worst toilet in scotland. The cinematography was spot on, my favorite scene being when renton is sitting in the pub with the accelerated camera and they pan back as renton sits absoutly still with the music playing in the background. I cannot wait for this to be released on blu, the dvd quality is absolute shit, i watched it after getting into blu ray and was appauled. I hear the japanese release pq isnt that good but i have to beleive it is still a big step up. That being said i am still waiting for an american release, picking that up first day for sure

He has made several good movies but Slumdog Millionaire wins by a large margin for me.

For me it's Millions. I haven't seen Slumdog Millionaire yet properly, but from what I saw I just don't think it'll be better than Millions - at least for me.

Shallow Grave, I saw it soon after it first came to DVD and loved it. After that, I thought he sort of a hit or miss director but always interesting enough to want to check out anything he releases

Really liked Trainspotting and The Beach, but I think I have to give it to Sunshine although I have yet to see Slumdog Millionaire or Millions.

Very good director, my favs are:

1. 28 Days Later (Best Horror Film Ever!)
2. Sunshine (The best sci-fi film in years)
3. Slumdog Millionaire (Very good but not 8 Oscar worthly however)

One of my favorite directors.

Trainspotting, closely followed by 28 Days Later and The Beach

I voted for Sunshine. Fantastic movie, but it was a very tough choice. Among some of my other favorites are definitely The Beach, Trainspotting, and Millions. Here's hoping for a BD release of each and every one!
