Angry Some suggeations...

First a complain from a enthusiastic BluRay buyer (myself): once amazon.com posted pre-order information, they always say whatever discount for pre-order. However, if people follow the price on amazon.com, you will find out the prices of BluRay disks are going lower and lower (e.g. Amadeus, etc...). So I canceled all my pre-orders from amazon.com and wait for better price than they promised.

Second, all these manufacturers keep "pushing out" new models year after year, it just confuses the customer more: which player should I buy and when the manufacturers are going to have new models?! For example, Panasonic just had 2 new models: DBP-BD35K and 55K, they are going to introduce 3 new models this year; Sony have BDP-S350 and 550 for just about a year, and now they announced 2 more new players: 360 and 560... Do they just want people keep buying and buying, and abandon original users of their "old" players?? If this is the trick they are playing, sooner or later, customers will stop buying...

Do you ladies and gentlemen getting a bit tired of all these?

On BD discs: Don't they guarentee you'll get the lowest price upon shipping? I'm pretty sure they adjust their pricing accordingly for pre-orders as well.

On BD players: Hell yeah, they want to keep selling more and units as that's what their in business for. They will still support you though with their warranty and aren't abondoning buyers with older units at all.

I have been getting a bit annoyed as well with the pre-sale prices. I got some great deals with the lowest price guarantee when an item is pre-ordered until it ships in the past. On Amadeus, I actually called Amazon about the price drop 2 days after it released from $26 to 14. Happily, they gave me a $12 credit and restored my faith in Amazon and humanity.
My advice: call them out on their s*it.

yeah, amazon "said" lowest price guaranteed, but lots of their movie price will drop... Amadeus is only an example, and i am getting tired of keeping track of all disks i ordered. the best way to deal with amazom.com is to wait about a week after the formal release... I bought more than 100 BD's from amazon.com, and kind of frustrated about their marketing trick...
