Is 'The Brazilian Job' ever happening?

i think talks of the italian job sequel have been around since what..04? is there any reason to think this movie will ever happen?

No the Charlize Theron movie was a flop at the box office, barely made it's budget back, and it was poorly received by critics. All-in-all, sequel chances are not good.

actually, not to go against you max , but the budget was 60 mill and domestically it brought in over 100. worldwide was 176. so, not astounding profits, but it did bring in almost double its budget.

Making back its budget is not the production budget. BO receipts should be 2-2.5x for NA, or international has to be 2.5-3x for a movie to break even.

gotya i thought you were only referring to the production budget. either way, i don't think this movie deserves a sequel. just like the hundreds of others that don't but will get them anyways
