Ironing Blu-ray Cover Art

Hi,

I bought Cloverfield new from Tower and the cover art always appeared to be water damaged. It was wavy and just looked like it got humid somewhere along the way.

I had tried keeping it for a week in a big book like a dictionary but that did zero.

Anyway... today I ironed it. I have a fancy iron that has "dry" modes and put wax paper above and below the cover art and used the almost lowest setting of the iron.

Seemed to work... looks almost like the problem was never there.

Just thought I would mention it.

I think he meant the paper insert cover-art. The plastic case is likely to melt.

Yeah,...

The paper inside the case... I put it facedown so I was ironing the back of the paper and in this case there was only white on the back. Either way I had it between 2 sheets of wax paper.

I wouldn't have done it either but I've been ironing bead projects for the kids a lot lately.

Having the artwork on a disc I bought new look like it had been in a swimming pool just irked me. I would see the problem everytime... Now I don't see the problem so I'm glad I did it.

I meant the platic case I should've been more clear... Since i am at work when i am on this site i don;t always check my posts for typos or for clarity.
