Arrow Taken 2

There's a video interview with Robert Mark Kamen where he talks about plans with Luc Besson to revisit Taken with a sequel. It's not much, but here's to hoping!

Check it out over here.

Released Jan. 30, 2009. Lol - I still want to see this one, but wished it was rated R and a bit longer than 94 minutes. I guess PG-13 gets more butts in the seats, but the plot of this movie, you'd think would need to be more action packed or prob. with a bit of over the top violence to make it an R rating. Maybe it was and they trimmed it some, to appease the Studio? Whatever it was rated, good to see Liam back. Might have to catch it this wk-end. He usually does quality films. I hope he and Spielberg find time to do their reported "Lincoln" project.

It is not much longer. I believe there is only 1 real change between the uncut version and the theatrical version we have had here in the US.

Hopefully his ex-wife and daughter get murdered in the first 10 seconds. If this occurs, I may see it.

Maybe they take his daughter again lol. They didn't learn there lesson from the first film. *Spoiler*I dont get how he blows up half of whatever country he is in and just automatically gets back home without dealing with the police in the other country... *END*

don't get me wrong i thought taken was good, but not great. i do not think a sequel would be smart. there was so much they skipped over in the first movie and the ending was pretty lame imho...i think they should just leave it alone

He didn't blow up anything. Why would the police be after him. 1) he was on a boat at the end, nobody has any idea he is on it. Other then some dead people 2) The only police that cared and were after him were corrupt. He handled that guy so that leaves speculation as to if anyone cared anymore. 3) He is ex-CIA he should easily be able to leave without anyone seeing him. 4) he went on a private jet so no check points to get through there.

I don't see any holes in the movie. It was good to me because it was more grounded and realistic than most movies like this. Although I think they should have just ended it on the boat. The sappy ending was not that great especially because the daughters acting is pretty bad (...why does she run everywhere...geez).

Hmm, I'd like to see possibly the last mission he was a part of. Who's to say it has to follow the same formula as the first. They could go any where with this. The lack of scope of some here is surprising at times.
