ps3 streaming media - Blu-ray Forum

i have seen that the ps3 can stream from your pc using wmp. however, i hate this player and only use winamp. has anyone tried to get this to work using winamp instead?

exactly, but i figure there are enough of us out there that hate windows media player.

Once it's set up, you never need to actually open Windows Media Player 11. There's a background process that keeps the sharing going.

but it's still WMP in the background

i'll give it a try when i get home, i just want to use something else

Does this work with a LAN connection? I do not have Wireless yet.
