Default For fans of Star Trek: Enterprise

How many Star Trek: Enterprise fans are here?

For anyone who was a fan of this show and used to watch this it back a few years ago, you'll be happy to know that the HDN channel (channel 79 on Direct TV), airs these episodes uncut, commercial free and in series order. Plus, the HD is excellent too. They air 2 times a day, Monday through Saturday, beginning at 1pm EST.

They are currently wrapping up season 4, but will begin airing the 1st season again starting March 23rd.

I rather liked this show, especially the Xindi story arc, which was all of season 3. Too bad the show never made it past season 4, but it's nice to be able to watch the repeats.

Cheers!

I discovered this show watching it on HDNET. A really well done science fiction show with interesting characters. The writing is stellar at times and it looks great in high-definition. I would love to see it come to Blu-ray. It looks in great condition and ready to release.

enterprise had a difficult beginning but it was getting better in season 4 specially by brinning alien species and past situations already familiar to the fans. too bad they decided to cancelled the show, a couple more season could have made a big difference in the way we views the show today unfortunately the ratings were going down and the fans were giving up on the show so it was cancelled, so like i said...too bad.

it sucked also cause it only got air time in about half the country, and ALWAYS got bumped for basketball games and such so it never really had a chance from day 1. I really liked the attempt at a fresh take on the star trek universe and mythos, and really liked the crew which is what makes a show for me. Hope this does come to blu! It looks great in 740p so i am sure it would good in all its blu glory

I think it ended very badly, had some horrid episodes, but was still a decent series. I try to watch when I'm not in class.

The theme song is horrendous. It is almost as bad as the Firefly theme song, which set new levels of badness.

I have to admit to muting the sound when the theme song starts to rip.

I watched most of the first season, enjoyed what I saw. Just kind of lost interest in it. Wouldn't mind getting them on blu-ray for like $20 a season though... : ) Living in the boonies in Alaska sucks, no way to get cable television.

look... i've been a star trek fan since i can remember.. first kirk, then picard, then janeway and finally archer. never cared for ds9 at all must say, tried watching it multiple times, just couldnt get into it. anyhow, back on topic, i think each series has its own positives... kirk with the original throwback style, then picard with his refined ways, voyager in another galaxy and archer at the beginning of the journey.. i have to say, despite coming upon it last.. enterprise is my favorite of all! i LOVE the way they bring everything together and how the explain how so many things came to be in ST. i was very very sad the show was cancelled. i think true fans of ST should have appreciated it for what it was... which was totally brilliant ideas, such original story lines, amazing graphics, captivating characters and best of all... it was like a journey back in time, before picard, kirk there was archer. the premise/ background for this series was the most creative of any ST show i had seen since some of the voyager episodes. just some examples of what i'm talking about are the storys behind:
the zindi
the expanse
first contact w/ romulins, clingons
temperal cold war
first contact: the real story

i wil be a definate buyer of this one on blu. i own all the star treks, but will only upgrade this one cuz its my fav. just my humble 2 cents

Nicely said. Enterprise looks great in HD and watching them the last few weeks has made me miss the show that much more. These will look excellent on BD when they come out too. As I recall, these were actually shot for HD.

And you're right, some of those storylines were fantastic. They took a huge chance by making that Xindi storyline last an entire season, but the results were worth it.

Speaking of storylines, I was always kinda hoping they would have made a Star Trek series that took place in the Alternate Universe. That would have made for some interesting storytelling.

Hmm maybe I'm wrong but I never got the impression the voyage everer left the galaxy, It's certainly big enough for there to be places you ar more than 75000 LY from earth. But back on topic, this is great news I can't wait for S1 (and the rest of the series for that matter) Hoshi always looked great (I have a thing for asian women) not that T'Pol looked bad. Let's just hope that CBS dos not out source this series, well TNG s1 and to a certain extent s2 should have got that idea out of their heads.

I will wholeheartedly agree with you there. That was a poor choice for a theme song. I find myself having to zip through it when I watch the episodes.
