Help!!!

What is better, put my blu-ray player in PCM so my denon shows "multi ch in" no matter if it´s dolby digital or dts etc,, or put my blu-ray player in BITSTREAM so my denon shows DTS if the source is dts for example

interesting.. i have the BDP-300 Player and i have that set as PCM on the player so it comes up as "Multichannel PCM" on the receiver, it does not show DTS-HD Master or the likes...dont get me wrong it DOES decode them but because of the player i have it only ever shows "Mulitchannel PCM"
