I have never seen this movie, only heard of it, anyone here care to give me a synopsis?

it's about a guy (douglas) who has an affair with a woman (close) while his wife is out of town and glenn close ends up becoming psychotic in her lust for douglas even after he declares their "affair" over. great/insane movie.

I liked this movie a lot, Glenn Close was real good, but I think the PQ of this movie is not suitable for blu ray, I think it will look bad!

Very recommendable film though! worth a rent, download, whatever.

Has anyone seen this film lately?
Yikes, the memory of it (1987) is certainly better than the reality.
I revisited the film just recently. I will never watch this film again, blu or otherwise.

Glenn Close is my favorite actress

She's great in Fatal Attraction, but I adore her in Dangerous Liaisons. I want that movie on Blu!!!

Where's Adrian Lyne been? Nothing since the awesome Unfaithful? I recall him being helmed to direct Nicole Kidman in The Silent Wife, but now his name is no longer attached

"Fatal Attraction" turns 30 in Sept...Anyone hear if we are getting a 30th Anniv Edition Blu-ray? There is a re-release listed for Sept but nothing said about the 30th and on the same day a bunch of other Paramount Movies are getting re-released to Blu-Ray.....

Warner lost the Paramount license, so a whole bunch of titles went out of print. Paramount is reprinting them in phases, no new features, just getting them back in print.

I think it's supposed to just be a standard re-release. But I'd happily buy an anniversary edition with some retrospective documentary. UHD is probably wishful thinking (especially from Paramount).
