Default Pioneer 1018 probs!

I have my ps3 connected to the 1018 with HDMI. Had this receiver for a few weeks now with no probs and today I switch it on and select the ps3 and it is on multichannel input and will not let me change it. I am getting video through it but no audio. I have tried all I know <whoch isnt alot> and cant seem to figure it out, I have made no changed to anything just turned it on today and BAM! ANy suggestions?

I'd check the resolution setting on you PS3, along with all the other settings if you haven't already? Try another HDMI cable, if you have another? Try another input? Are you using an A/V, if so what are the settings & brand? This is just to start...

Make sure that you don't have any settings on that will pass the audio through to your TV set, or that turn off the audio to begin with. I'm not that familiar with Pio's GUI, but there are similar settings in other models that'll throw your audio all out of whack.

I will check that but not sure how yet, need to read the whole manual. I got it to work right on another hdmi connection finally, but cant for the life of me figure out why that one hdmi connector is in multi channel input and will not let me change it.
