Universal Celebrates 20th Anniversary of Do the Right Thing on Blu-ray

Universal will release the Spike Lee joint Do the Right Thing on Blu-ray Disc and DVD June 30 to coincide with the film's 20th anniversary.

The Blu-ray version will receive a 1.85:1 1080p transfer and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.

Spike Lee returns to his early hit with a new 20th anniversary commentary track that will go hand-in-hand with a new 20th anniversary retrospective featurette. The complete list of bonus features is as follows.

I wish the resale value on the CC version DVD were higher, might temp me more to sell it and double dip. I don't see Universal charging more than $25 MSRP for it though, so who knows, maybe later on down the line. Anyway WB needs to release Malcolm X on Blu-Ray ASAP! That's my favorite Spike Lee joint.
