Default My Hockey Central Setup

there are a lot of extremely nice setups in here i dont think my mega cheap basement setup will rank up there very high but i just thought id share with fellow sports fans in here.

first i started out with some old rug that my parents gave me from their house and i sort of made it fit the room:

then i added my old tv that i got off a friend for $200:

then i added two old tvs i had laying around and old directv receivers i reactivated for both and my cerwin vega speakers

then i hooked up my old amp and my ps3/xbox/wii and yes, even a vcr

then i brought in some ugly hand-me-down furniture, theres another sofa that goes in the middle where the table is (a lot of people come over to watch hockey)

then i added another tv

more tvs

more tvs

all done for now, i have some goal lights im going to hook up in the ceiling and a horn

the pictures were also taken with a horrible camera, so overall this setup is awful compared to everybody on here but i hope to have this room redone and dry-walled with a nice projector screen someday and i soon will order a cerwin vega 15" sub center speaker and rear speakers and a new sony receiver. its a starter home for me, im working on it.

Dude, posts some pics in your gallery pronto! I'm at work and can't view the above pics within this post. If you like hockey as much as I do, then check out my pics. I would like your opinion.....

Looks fun! I don't have the programming to make it work if I wanted to. Awesome setup for sports for sure!

I wanted to paint the walls to make the room look like a locker room, with the hockey jersey's hanging there, some equipment and a huge area rug of the Flyers emblem. However, the wife suddenly took an interest into what I was going to do for "my" room and then this happened..... So what you see is us meeting halfway.

I see your one pic now.....are able to watch all of those games at the same time? I have Center Ice, but...... Where's the bar and wings?

well even for halfway that is still really cool! i cant watch any flyers games because thats my local market so theyre blacked out but i can watch 6 different games now. i had to add a receiver for each tv. so luckily when i upgraded my boxes to hd i still kept those standard ones and all i had to do was call to reactivate, only 4.99/m instead of buying new ones for $70

Yeah, I have DirecTV, but my market is considered Pitt/Wash, so I get both cities games as my local team. However, Comcrap has the exclusivity rights to the Flyers, so I can't watch them either, even though I am not in the Flyers market. Has something do with the the viewing rights Comcast got when they bought Prism 19 yrs ago. By the way, that exclusivity right ends after next year (20 yrs), and then, well, maybe......Flyers games!

Good deal with the boxes for sure. I wouldn't mind watching all of the games without having to turn the channel.....add a few more pics if you can...

At least we were mathematically eliminated in style with a 5-4 OT win against the Blues.
i have been silently rooting for the stars and the sabres to get in the playoffs because two of my good friends are fans and it wouldve been exciting to all have teams in this year but it looks like the injuries just got the better of the stars this year.
