What movies have you walked out on? - Blu-ray Forum

I can only say I have walked out of one film in my life and that was The New World. It was just mind numbingly boring and slow with little dialog at all. Sometimes the native language parts didn't even have subtitles. I was pretty embarrassed too, as I had a hot date with me that fell asleep and the night ended quite short.

Titanic and Saving Private Ryan, and both for the same reason...I admired the original experience, and I love history, but 2nd time through, I suddenly realized that - as cathartic as the original experience was - I just didn't want to go through it again, see people die again. So I left SPR before the end of the Omaha Beach sequence, couldn't watch Titanic once the ship sank, the horrible chorus of drowning people amplified by the concussion speakers of the Mann's Chinese. In a not dissimilar way, I was floored by The Passion of the Christ, did not return, admired the film, and bought the DVD, but I've never watched it all the way through since. Same thing with Apocalypto.

Agreed. I am also the type of person when I start to watch something, I want to see how it ends.

I walked out of "Bats" and we asked for our money back. The theater said that becuase it was before the halfway point of the movie that they would give it back

man, I knew someone would post this, I agree 100%, I almost did too, soo close, I couldn't help thinking after that movie, damn they should have paid me to see that crap, WHO green lights this crap

The closest walk out for me was Alexander the Great - this has to rank up there with alot of folks.

Every time I have been given vouchers for a free movie. If the movie sucks, it sucks, and the theater will normally want to keep your business over sending ticket receipts to a studio. If the theater is a mess of broken, it is what it is, and they give me a voucher...

Never had a problem with losing money before.

Trainspotting--I thought the movie was deplorable. I think when he dove into the toilet was when I had had enough.

I walked out on Pride and Prejudice. I only went because my wife wanted to see it. I walked into Narnia:the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe for the last hour, so it wasn't all that bad.

I rarely go to movies anymore, that is why I spend so much on home theater. It is just a terrible experience overall because it seems everyone has a different agenda other than to watch the movie. I only go for movies like Dark Knight, Iron Man, things I really wanna see.

Starship Troopers - Because the sausage wallet i was dating at that time whined enough about the movie, i finally gave in and left even though I WAS LOVING IT.

Minority Reports - ALSO BECAUSE OF A GIRL lol, teen years and took some brain candy before hand, and the GF made some comments that made me think i better get her out of public and back to the safety of the house lol

I have never walked out of theatre based on the movie, i don't go often so i usually don't go to see movies that i don't think i will at least some what enjoy, although i have turned off a few movies at home, dungeon siege tale comes to mind
