Question Rambo Box

Sorry if there is already a thread on the exact same thing, didn't see one:

But I saw a 'Rambo'-box with the 4 films in it.
Now I was wondering, would those be like the same discs or transfers as any other BD-release?
Such as the box with the first 3 films or the separate releases.

So basically, how can they be compared to the ones rated on this website?
Because I do not see the same box, unless I overlooked it.
Which is strange, because I thought this site would have all of them.
Especially when already having so many other releases of 'Rambo'-films on here.

Anyway, is this specific box any good and should I get it?
On the other hand, I also saw there will be a 5th one out.
So maybe I might get the box with the first 3 and the "modern" ones together later?
Then again, there just might even be a 6th later on, so it could be a long wait to get 3 by 3.
Unfortunately I missed 'Rambo' at the cinema, so I couldn't watch it before the 5th if I'd have to wait to get it. :\

i agree
i have yet to see a box set with all 4 movies

only the first three and 4th seperate

you can get all four for reasonably cheap on amazon btw:

http://www.amazon.com/s/qid=12392201...ay%20box%20set

http://www.amazon.com/Rambo-Blu-ray-...9220185&sr=8-3

its only around 50bucks without shipping for all 4 movies

also the newest one is a pretty good movie, you should definitly check it out soon

Well, here you go:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rambo-Ultima...9227616&sr=1-1

I forgot to say that this is probably a UK-release, seeing the rating-logos on the packaging.
But I also couldn't find it on the .com/US-site of Amazon.
Well, most I could find is this one: http://www.amazon.com/Rambo-Blu-ray/...227584&sr=1-11
Which is only sold for a ridiculous price by a seller in Austria...
And the description from Amazon says "this item has been discontinued by the manufacturer".
However, the .co.uk-site this sells it officially.
It's only about 18 pounds, maybe I should buy it out of principle?
Then again, I'm not sure what to think of this "unknown" box,
at least on this website curiously enough, and the price for FOUR BD-films.

Once again, a really strange case... why do I always run into these things?...

Hm.
For what I've been told, for example with the US-version of 'Iron Man' I got recently,
that sóme NTSC-bonus-material might not work correctly.
But that's just compatibility-stuff, I live in B anyway. :P
I don't think it would affect quality, unless...

That's another topic, but I wonder if you'd see a difference in the framerate of 25 and 30.
But that shouldn't be an issue since a film should look one specific way.
Hopefully that is consistent between NTSC and PAL...

Anyway, I'll try and find some more information about this specific box then.

It only comes with the first 3. The first one is sold separately.
It is the same as the ones released. The only difference is that all 3 Blu-Ray boxes with the discs are inside of it. Sliding case.
It's an awesome box set to have.
