Default Networking Cables

i didnt know what other forum to put this in, so sorry if this is the wrong one. im in the middle of finishing my HT and i need to buy new ethernet cables for my ps3 and my 360. are Cat5e cables the same thing as ethernet?? also, i need some sort of staples or something to run these along my baseboard, so they are not very noticeable. any suggestions??

Cat6 will work with any network and device.

as the clamps...

they look like this

http://www.goodmart.com/products/83586.htm

....and come in different size....I would check out a local Home depot or a fry's electronics if you have out there in your area.....they are usually around 2.00 to 10.00 a box of 25 or 50....

is it possible to tuck the wire under the base board as not to accidentally staple through the wire?
