Angry All The Boys Love Mandy Lane dropped again

It looks like Senator Entertainment is dropping the planned summer release of All The Boys Love Mandy Lane from the end of July. I personally own the UK BD release and its a decent picture. A slasher, but a bit different. Kinda like a teen soap opera with a victim list.

It amazes me that small pictures like this that get good reviews and positive buzz cant even get a decent home video release, and crap like Zombie Strippers is on the shelf right now at Best Buy.

WOW. I just watched this import title on Saturday night and I was actually quite suprised. I was even planning on checking it out in the theaters this summer. Wonder what the reasoning is behind that decision? The movie was head and shoulders above most of the other "slasher" movies that have come out in the last few years.

From the article I read, it seems the studio that owned it, Senator Entertainment, also made a flick called "The Informers" that tanked. I guess money is tight and they needed to cut costs.

I was hoping to swap my uk version fow a US release since my copys special features are PAL formatted and unwatchable.
