Default Audio for the next generation optical disk, explaining DD+/D

I was browsing this japanese site and I found this seminar about audio on next gen discs. It's very informative and left me encouraged about possibilities including full cinema 16 channel setup which seems a bit overwhelming. Here are the translated pages

Audio for the next generation optical disk, explaining DD+/DTS HD
Dolby, explaining the foam/home theater sound "after 5.1ch"
- Reproducing the digital cinema faithfully at the foam/home theater

While I'd certainly be interested in the 13.1 setup they mention whatever happened to the proposed 10.2 setup mentioned a couple of years ago? I'm curious to see what studio's audio departments can do with two subs. Regardless, what I'd really like to see available on the audio side of Blu-ray discs would be an overhead speaker. Having a speaker in the center of the HT ceiling could be amazing for many action films, especially war films where a jet, helicopter, or a missile is flying over your head. It'd do wonders in getting a viewer even more "into" a movie.

Myeah...

But when is the limit reached, when lets say 30 channels doesn't hear different than 20 channel..
These numbers are just guesses, but I hope you'll see where I'm going to.

Also, will the difference between UHDTV and HDTV be visible? :? Just wondering...

However, 13.1 would be nice
