USA Paradigm Studio Home Theater

Well, I've finally completed the upgrade. I've gone from a Martin Logan system to this:

Processing & Power:
Pre-amp/Processor: Anthem AVM-50 w/ Anthem Room Correction upgrade
Amplifier: B&K Components Reference 200.5

Video:
Projector: Panasonic PT-AE3000U
Screen: Carada Criterion 100" 16:9 BW (1.4 gain)

Speakers:

Main Speakers: Paradigm Reference Studio 100 v.5 (rosenut)
Rear Speakers: Paradigm Reference Studio Esprit v.4 (rosenut)
Center Speaker: Paradigm reference Studio CC-690 v.5 (rosenut)
Subwoofer: (2) JL Audio Fathom f113 (gloss black)

Source Devices:
Blu-ray Player: Sony PS3
HD-DVD Player: Toshiba HD-A30
Media Manager: Escient MX-531
DVD/SACD Changer: Sony DVP-CX777ES
Sat HD/DVR: DirecTV HR-20 Video
Game System: Microsoft XBox 360; Sony PS3

Power Management:

PS Audio Power Director 4.7

Your equipment in amazing hands down one of my favorites!!!! !

I really want those v.5 towers. Maybe ill have to make a trade in for the v.5's.


Overall are you happier with the paradigms over the martin logans?

Absolutely! The Martin Logans were fine speakers, but the Paradigms just seem to do everything so effortlessly. They have much more presence feel so powerful.

this is absolutely hands down my favorite setup on this site...i lover studio 100s anyways...your room is so clean and so filled with extremely high class gear...great setup

LOTS. Unless you make really good money, you'll be saving for a while. He's got a nice pre/pro and amp, 2 badass JL subs, the top of the Paradigm studio series, etc. I'd recommend going and auditioning some speakers and get a feel for what type of speakers you like first.

You would be looking at $7000-$8000 for the Paradigm speakers and the JL i think are around $3500 each. You will also need a good receiver and power amp to properly power the Paradigms, but you could get away with just the receiver if it's powerful enough.
