Default Unpopular Ideas

Im going to say something that needs to be said but no one has the guts to say. Please feel free to add to the list.

1.) Joss Whedon is OVER-RATED. Early Buffy is good, and Angel is his best series, but lets face it, not everything he touches is gold. (Dollhouse anyone?)

2.) Uwe Boll is not the worst director in the world. Hes technically a very good director will great action scenes. His writing may suck but there are far worst working directors. Whos the guy who directed Jaws-The Revenge?

3.) Rob Zombies movies suck. This needs no explaination.

4.) Glen A Larson created Battlestar Galactica. Not Ron Moore.

I don't like his work outside of Firefly and Serenity which I love

He's not technically a good director, what on earth would make you think that? I'm serious here, what about his action scenes are done well and why?

I'm not a fan of 'horror' largely so can't really comment (i've only seen one of his films which bored me) as i'm rarely scared by horror films (though alien terrified me, though it felt more like a sci-fi thriller to me).

Meh, the new Battlestar Galactica is great, the old one isn't for me (campy and chessy to the extreme).

I'll try one:
Star Wars Episode 3 is second only to Episode 5 in terms of the best Star Wars films.

The Incredible Hulk was a better film then Iron Man

Batman Begins was better then The Dark Knight (even if only just).

1. yes, yes it is

2. yes, yes it was

3. sometimes i feel this way, sometimes i don't
it mostly depends on which movie i've watched more recently

i'll take a crack at it:

the Pirates of the Caribbean sequels were better than the original by far

Here's one. While the original Star Wars movies are ok at best the prequels suck @$$ and George Lucas is a hack who got lucky.

Those are the only things of his that i have really seen. They were great! I only saw 2 episodes of Dollhouse, and I was not too impressed.

I've come to terms with the fact that MS is evil but I still renewed my Xbox Live account to play online. I will buy MW2 on 360.

Buffy is my favorite show but it wasn't perfect nor was Angel. I'd say his most consistent work is Firefly.

Haven't seen enough Uwe Boll to discuss him.

Loved The Devil's Rejects, wasn't sure what to think about House of 1000 Corpses, didn't like Halloween but I'll try the sequel.

Never seen the old BSG.

5. Musicals are awesome

X-Men Origins: Wolverine is the best X-Men Movie ever!

The Dark Knight is one heck of a tedious bore.

They have messed up Star Trek with the whole parallel universe BS. Star Trek is supposed to be linear.

1. IMO it was a love story with great action scenes. Much like the Star Wars prequels.

2. Boring at parts, sure, but overall a good action movie.

3. Fair enough, but it was still a nice blockbuster to get the summer started off right.

You would think that Kirk and Spock would potentially fix the parallel universe when they were older, anyone else agree?
