Default Who wants to see more trailers?

I sure do. I think watching trailers is just part of the whole experience. Trailers+Food(Popcorn/Candy)+Feature Film = Experience. Well, that and 1080P resolution coupled with lossless audio matrixed to 7.1 of course

Trailers get me ready for the movie, when I pop in a BD and it goes right to the menu it's almost dissapointing in a sense. Plus trailers are usually the best quality part of the disc! Anyone else feel the same way?

In a cinema, they are fine. Lets the late sods find a seat and not ruin the film and lets me see some gems that may not of been on my radar.

At home, no way. Seen most of the films, so why watch the trailer.

I despise when they put trailers at the beginning of a Blu-ray. I've already paid $20+ for a movie, I shouldn't have to sit through advertising. With the slower loading times with Blu-ray I get impatient, and then if I have to press the chapter skip button 8 times I get downright annoyed, especially when pushing the menu button doesn't work to skip the previews. In the theater I have no problem with trailers though.

same here, if they want to put trailers on the disk thats fine but put it there as an option to watch them and not so that they automatically start before the movie and then not allow you to go straight to the main menu, that pisses me off more than anything

Not a fan of trailers on home video or theaters.
If I do watch a trailer, and I very rarely do, I just got to Apple's site.

+1

That's why I love Universal's Blu's! It brings you to the main menu right away with that cool sound effect!!

Paramount isn't bad either. For sound effects I like on the FOX BD's right before the movie starts it shows the logo and then flashes a blu-ray symbol as well.

I'd rather have 1 of 2 options. Either a menu at the beginning of the disc that states 1) Trailers 2) movie menu

Or

Just have the trailers as an option in the movie menu.

What Disney does is just not right.

I love trailers when in the main menu or special features window... that way i can decide what to do...

Disney is overboard though... it is like 15 trailers

i love trailers, but would like the option to skip if i want. also it would be nice if they considered it standard to include the theatrical trailers for the film you bought. some do and some dont.

i even have a couple boxes of 35mm trailers back before the film companies wanted them back.

Love the trailers at the theater, not so much at home.

No thanks. I like watching them in theatres, but not before a movie I purchased or even rented. Cross-promotion trailers should be kept in extra features or in a Previews section.

Lets work more on getting the trailers for the film you bought actually on the frickin' disc you bought! I hate buying a disc that does not include the trailer for that particular film. For example, Fox's old 2-Disc 5 Star Collection DVD for The French Connection had the trailer for the film on both disc 1 & disc 2. The new 2-Disc BD has no trailer... Boooo!

I love watching trailers before a movie at the theaters. If I miss 'em I feel I've missed half the movie.

When it comes to watching trailers before a movie on BD/DVD, I despise them!

SCREW the trailers.

The worst thing is not being able to skip the trailers with the top menu button.

I love the trailers at theater and at home. In the theater it's to see what's coming up that I might get excited for. At home it's to remind me of movies I might still need to get that I might have forgotten about. I also like to watch really great trailers again and again. If it's something I'm not interested in I have no problems hitting the skip button I'm in no hurry.

On Disney BD its EXACTLY the same as both the prior VHS and DVD, brings back memories with the "Coming Soon to Theatres & Coming Soon to Blu-Ray" screens.
