Worlds worst director-not Uwe Boll!

Yes I kid you not. I know Ive taken some knocks here for my support of a few of Uwes films, but if you want to know whos 100% worse, look no further than the above link for Lars Von Triers "Antichrist". Pure fecal matter.

Check out the film if you dont believe me.

Personally, I thought the guy who directed "Brown Bunny" was the worst director in the world.

George Lucas is the worlds worst director. Not only does he suck, he could give a flip about his original fan base.

While I'm at it, you're wrong too.

Not ALL of the original fan base hates the new trilogy, just the vocal minority.

If you want, you could probably find the Original Trilogy on Laserdisk and you can hug those all you want while waving your fist into the air at George Lucas, but you should respect what Lucas has brought to the industry.

You mean just the vocal Majority of the real fans back in the day. I do respect what he brought to the industry...pre 1997. After 1997 and the abominations....he totally lost it.

Believe or not I've seen movies that are truely worse than anything Boll's directed ( Children of the Living Dead comes to mind). But Boll is more consistent at making shit films. But I did like Postal.

Because those are the biggest collectors items presentation of the trilogy {and the original theatrical release as well}

I'm thinking that anyone who complains that much probably has them on the top of a shelf with the rest of their Star Wars collectibles, including but not limited to, a full wookie suit.

The trailer for Antichrist looks promising, but i'm gonna wait till i can see it at a movie theater or at home on DVD or bluray to make a judgement. I'm with Deckard here, no way can this one movie, even if it's as bad as they say it is (and i doubt it is), bring Von Trier down to the level of Boll in one fell swoop.

Whats the difference between telling someone to stick with the Laserdisc versions of the original Star Wars trilogy and sticking with Laserdisc for all movies in general? Why would anyone find that acceptable?

As for being the worst director... I guess he's pretty bad. I know he completely mangled Bloodrayne and the Dungeon Siege movie.

Now, I have absolutely no idea how hard it is to direct a movie. I know there are a ton of movie buffs and even some guys who work in the industry on this board. Maybe you guys can clear some things up for me.

Like I said, I think Bloodrayne was pretty horrible. Both of them. Now I see on IMDB that Uwe Boll did not write them. Given that the scripts were pretty crappy, were those movies doomed to begin with? Could getting a better director have saved them?
