Is it time to do a release of the extended edition with a better transfer than the original? The original transfer was too grainy, detail was soft, blacks were crushed, and it suffered from contrast issues. The sound also needs a 7.1 mix. Granted, that means we'd have to suffer Witherspoon's voice in 7 speakers (

I'd love to see a U.S. release of the extended cut on Blu-Ray. I think the video and audio is great on the current release, though a 7.1 mix would be nice. As for Reese's voice, I mean no disrespect to the deceased, but she sang much better than June Carter.
