Interstellar and Big Hero 6 will have a total from 7 days (starting last Monday), Dumb and Dumber To will have 3 days less. Or do I look at this the wrong way?

So, yeah, in that way I would say :

1. Big Hero 6
2. Interstellar
3. Dumb & Dumber To

When looking only at the actual weekend-days, I would say :

1. Big Hero 6
2. Dumb & Dumber To (close to BH6 numbers)
3. Interstellar

Somehow, I don't know how, Ouija has managed to continue to make money. I think there's going to be a drop off between Interstellar and D&D. Then another big drop off to the hangers on, Gone Girl and Ouija.

ETA: It's very heart-warming to me that Gone Girl will almost certainly break the $150M domestic mark this weekend (it only needs about $2.5M). It's nice to see a serious, quality film aimed at adults that tackles some provocative themes do well.

It's not as mixed as a lot of people like to claim, frankly. But the negative voices, as usual with anything really, are going to seem louder.

It's not that surprising...People are excited about the movie, and some people even like it! Shocking, I know, other tastes and all that.

I honestly think the movie, Carrey, and Daniels, deserve it. I thought it was a good bit of fun and it was great to see Carrey unhinged again.
