A little expensive... but ordered! I really enjoy that movie! And the GER SB release doesn't have English dub or subs. I can change the region on my PS3 player but don't know why is not region free.

Happens everytime I order a previously released steelbook.

How do you change the region on the PS3?

Illegally

I don't think we're aloud to discuss it here unfortunately.

Yes It's a modded (non-illegal) PS3 w/CFW. (Can't discuss it here). But, many UK steelboks like this one are region B locked. I'm a "open the wrap and enjoy it" collector. Already have it in 2D JAP/KOR lang. with ENG/SPA subs and it's an excellent movie. Can't wait to watch it in 3D.

its kinda funny really as i loved the film but found by watching both english dubbed and english sub versions they almost seemed like 2 different films going by the audio or sub content. ( video content was the same though )

for some reason the subs are more descriptive and go in depth in a completely different way to what the English dubbing does so when you watch the English dubbed version first (by the way there are chunks in the video that is not dubbed) then go and watch the subbed version its like wtf?

the story changed a lot lol.

i borrowed my copies from a friend that had the 2 different versions he purchased in Australia.

also if you look at the cost of the English Amaray its not that different to what you can buy on Fleabay which just checking now the current cheapest option is around £18 inc del with currency conversion.
Link - contains only English subs no English Dubbing audio is in japanese

so for me its a definite pre-order and the price will most likely drop before release anyway on both the steelbook and Amaray.

my prediction on release price going by amazon France/Germany is
£17.99 - steelbook - English Sub version / Audio dubbing unknown
£15 - amaray - English Sub version / Audio dubbing unknown

That's why when it comes to Anime, I always go for English Sub rather than dub.

still it would be nice to have both just for completeness sake :P

then you would get instant double re-watch capability as it really is that different :P

any one taking a guess if the collector edition like the Australian collectors edition will include both English subs & dubbing?

i know the standard release only has the subs but would be nice if this English release had both.

Awesome art on this, as predicted.

I was close to buying the Hong Kong release but I'm glad I waited.

lol the price seems to have rocketed for both edition on amazon

glad i pre-ordered Amaray@17.75 & Steel@27.75 ...hopefully they will settle by end of feb.

by the way the Amaray pictured on Zavvi looks almost identical to the JB HiFi Collectors Edition that sold out practically over night ...if it is then it has English Audio Dubbing and only Japanese Subs no English subs. But also comes with a DVD copy of the extended version.

i think zavvi has made a mistake on listing as they are listing title description as steelbook @£21.99 yet show the amaray in picture
