Last time I checked, Dolby Atmos projects has to be 24/48. Nothing higher.

I'm just wondering if the 24/96 is a separate TrueHD track. Did anyone do a BD info scan on this?

Atmos can be 24/96, but as a rule it's not on Blu-ray because the file size could get unruly.

There isn't a separate TrueHD track.

To be honest, unless you have the cleanest and most accurate lab grade electronics and speakers, you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between 24/48 and 24/96 recordings.

According to this PDF manual, it appears Dolby Atmos is limited to 24/48. I apologize for the long URL.

Page 13 describes that consumer Atmos tracks can be encoded at 48 kHz or 96 kHz sampling and 16 or 24 resolution bit depths using the TrueHD lossless codec.

96 kHz would normally be used in the industry for music only soundtracks.

Just so anyone cares, here in Singapore, this has a 2D+3D Hybrid release. But no Dolby Atmos. It's DTS-HD 7.1

You will have no issues playing either the 2D or 3D disc in your PS3.

Unfortunately the UK 3D Release of "Step Up 5: All In" does not have the Dolby Atmos track, but an DTS Master HD Audio track instead. It's the same on the UK 2D Blu-ray, which is also included in the 3D release.

Is there any release of "Step Up 5: All In" available worldwide which has BD 3D and an english DOLBY ATMOS track?

Got my UK 3D copy the other, have yet to watch it yet.
But it does have a slipcover

I got my copy from Amazon.co.uk on Friday, and I watched it over the weekend.

I feel like the 3D wasn't SUPER-deep, but it was still cool. The only problems were that the 3D in the main menu was backwards, but luckily the movie was normal. Except for one shot when they go to pick up the robot dancer guy and the 3D just kind of goes kerflooey. Luckily it's brief.

I guess I can't really complain after going through all the trouble to import the UK Blu-ray since they didn't release it in 3D in the US...

Does the US Blu-ray contain any Dolby Atmos trailers before the movie starts? The Expendables 3 also from Lionsgate comes with a Dolby Atmos "Unfold" trailer.

Need a confirm to put it on the master list.
