The audio is Dolby TrueHD. Multiple people have confirmed this

The artwork that was posted was likely left over from 2006, before the WB exclusivity lockdown. It is both a new transfer and lossless

Can someone that gets this first confirm if this does have the Dolby TrueHD track on it?

All the artwork I've seen so far just says Dolby Digital EX.

I want to make sure it has the lossless track on it before buying it.

Nice but let's hope that the picture doesn't resemble the grain sucked Twister.

watched the film last week on blu ray PQ i would give 4.5 and AQ 5/5

It was a whole new video transfer and it is Dolby True HD. Don't overdo it, honestly. Caps lock can be turned off.

Thanks for the confirmation. I'll keep it on pre-order.

I hope they don't screw up the specs on the back & leave the Dolby TrueHD track off the back cover specs.

Some people wouldn't buy it unless it had lossless sound & if they don't list it on the back cover they could miss some sales.

Can't wait to see the new transfer & hear the Dolby TrueHD soundtrack with it.

Picked this up this morning and just watched it. I'm really pleased as this is one catalog title I was REALLY anticipating. The PQ is fantastic, and more importantly, really consistent. I would give it a 4.5/5, it really looks great, and I was skeptical given the night/rain scenes, but it holds up beautifully. You guys are going to hate me, but my receiver is blown so I cant rate the AQ. I can only imagine it will be great to hear the waves and wind whip around the room. I have always felt this movie was underrated and couldnt be happier to see it the way it should be. Buy this Blu!!

Here's confirmation of the new, non-"1080i bobbed" master/encode:

HD DVD with jaggies:

Blu-ray without jaggies:

Both are crops taken from the 2.35 area of the 1080p JPG.

Warner already screwed this up for me by not shipping it out to me yet. Has anyon e who ordered from Warner got this? I preordered in May

Again, I find myself not agreeing with him. I know PQ is subjective, so to each his own, but I loved the way this looked. No, it doesnt have the pop or sharpness of a Crank, but I dont feel it is supposed to. It looks like film. I saw this in the theater and it looks great here. Again, to me. The old YMMV theory, I guess. I'm satisifed.

I'm sorry but I have to laugh about this... Even though they redid the picture and everything, they still used HD DVD's bitrates.
