Default Dragonball Z: Resurrection Of Freiza

Quote:
An Earth where peace has arrived. However, remnants of Frieza's army Sorbet and Tagoma (from the Japanese word for 'egg') arrive on the planet. Their goal is to revive Frieza with the dragon balls. Their dastardly wish is granted, the "F" that plans its revenge against the Saiyans is revived...!
Its the sequel to Battle Of Gods so yes, its canon! I'm glad we're getting this since we were robbed of the rematch thanks to Trunks. 2015 can't get here fast enough!

Default AWESOME!!! Did not see this one coming!

Frieza is so underpowered though, how will he beat Super Saiyan God Goku?

Oh, yeah. There's more then one wish you can make with the new Dragonball's and Frieza's ultimate goal was to wish for immortality and to be the most powerfullest being in the universe, so maybe he gets his wish granted?

Freiza would explode from one punch by Super Saiyan 3 Goku.

Totally gonna catch this in theaters next year.

Even without powering up by the end of the saga Goku, Vegeta, Gohan and even Trunks & Goten are way more powerful than Frieza ever was. So you're probably right Frieza will wish to increase his power level otherwise he just gets curbstompted.

It’s the news fans have been waiting for! FUNimation Entertainment is proud to announce its acquisition of the theatrical, home entertainment, video on demand and broadcast rights to the upcoming Japanese animated feature film Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’.

Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ represents the nineteenth feature film in the Dragon Ball series. Series creator Akira Toriyama was directly involved in the film’s production, just as he was in the highly successful Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods. The English dub of the new film will be released in theaters across North America in Summer 2015.

However, fans of the franchise may not have to wait until summer to get a look at the film! FUNimation Entertainment has teamed up with 20th Century FOX & Toei Animation to host the world premiere of Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ (in Japanese w/ English subtitles) at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles, CA on Saturday, April 11. So, if you’re in the Los Angeles area you can be among the first in the world to see Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’. A limited amount of tickets to the premiere will be available to fans and the general public beginning today at dragonballz.com.

For more information on Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’, and to purchase tickets to the world premiere, please visit dragonballz.com. Tickets are extremely limited.

I just hope Vegeta gets to put down Frieza in this movie. It's only right considering all the crap he's been through because of Frieza. Also would be nice to see the look on Frieza's face when he's beaten by a 2nd Saiyan.

Does this mean it'll be dubbed faster? DBZ is probably the only anime that's better dubbed.

Would love to see Vegeta become a god like Goku has and put down Frieza as well. Why should Goku be the only remaining Saiyan to be able to utilize his full potential?

Yes, the dub comes out in theaters this Summer. So anywhere from 4-7 months from now.

Indeed. Don't get me wrong, I like Goku, but I like Vegeta too, and It's time Vegeta gets some of the spot light.

It's probably already been dubbed if It's being released this summer, or they're in the very last stages of the dubbing process.

I have to say, pretty good trailer overall. Although, the thing that most caught me off guard was the return of Master Roshi's buffed up form, glad that's back. 2nd most thing was Gohan's jogging suit..... Wtf?

Awesome time at the theater tonight.

There's only one theater playing it in my city for this one week release. And for the weekend it's showing it two times a day. The rest are one time slot per day. Anyways my theater was pretty packed. I'd say to about 98% capacity, with some people opting to sit on the stairs and even stand against the wall. Overall the crowd had a blast, there were so many funny moments, the Vegeta-Goku love hate bromance only gets better and better.

4.9/5 with the only minor complaint being the minor detail that saves the day. Kind of a cop out.
