I love the teaser trailer. It's a return to the days where teasers lived up to their name. I think people have gotten too used to studios essentially making their teasers 2.5 minute trailers that tell you what the film's about (thus forcing the final 2.5 minute theatrical trailer to be spoilerific because they've already summarized the movie for us elsewhere). Cinderella's one of the few stories where a single image is iconic enough to be instantly identifiable. Keep in the mind the movie's 10 months away. It would unwise for Disney to throw everything out so early. I bet we'll see a second teaser with actual film footage in October attached to Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.

It doesn't seem like the mice talk in this and probably amount to cameos as a tip of the hat to the animated one.

I don't know much about women's shoes but surely that's going to give her problems with her achilles tendon.

Love the Teaser though and I can't fault Branagh's work on the classics but I'm hoping Romanek's influence will still be on the screen.

The theatrical trailer will debut Wednesday on Good Morning America and will be attached to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 this weekend. Disney's already released a sneak peek, though:

Just from the few shots we get in that, it looks like this will be every bit as lavish as I was hoping Kenneth Branagh would make it.

All I can say about it now is they need to spend some more on VFX, it's like they've been using the same style since Alice in Wonderland. I'll have to see more before I can decide if I actually want to sit in a theater to watch it.

Looks like it might be pretty good. Hopefully they showed the only beats we are all familiar with in the trailer so more of the plot isn't spoiled. I am excited to see Richard Madden in something after Game of Thrones too

I like it. I never saw the other live one (if I remember right, it seemed pretty second rate) so I look forward to this! I'm also glad they're not make a Malefocient version of Cinderella. LOL

I think it'll probably attract a lot of young girls and their parents...but since I am neither, I don't have much interest in it. From the trailer, it looks like they took out my favorite characters: Jack, Gus, the Duke, and the temperamental King.
