God, I love Bill Hunt. He completely destroyed that idiot from AICN.

Kudos to Bill for laying the smack down. I've never even heard of AICN until a few days ago when they were in the spotlight for spreading FUD. Thank god someone who is in Bill's position is bold enough to openly lay down the law.

Ouch! Everything I've been saying for some time now. I really don't see any holes in Bill's points. The facts are facts. We'll just have to wait for Peter Bracke and Robert George to tear it apart with nonsense.

Simply put: If you're ready to get into high-def discs... we say Go Big Blu.

So yes... Blu-ray Disc is now officially the high-def format of choice for The Digital Bits. In the same way that we recommended everyone chose anamorphic widescreen DVDs over the alternative, we think you'll come to appreciate this advice in the months and years ahead as well. 'Nuff said.
Bill Hunt is da man.

Simply awesome! Bill has been trying to play this thing nice from the beginning. It's great to see him all fired up about it and officially backing Blu-Ray. I love how he shoots down every single HD-DVD argument with straight-up facts and calls out Microsoft on their little game. This is definitely one for the archives.

At least no one using logic.

Nice end to the week. Pirates stomps, Neilsens rock, Hunt rips their hearts out. HD-DVD boys back on the defensive.

Hey, if Universal Pictures can ignore the reality of Blu-ray, then the sole HD-DVD group can sheild themselves from reality, too.

I honestly feel sorry for them. They actually think that article was full of lies. Its amazing to see their lack of intellect.

Well, Hunt stated right out what the rest of us have been murmuring about - that M$ is most likely subsidizing Universal and Toshiba for their losses. Thus the latter two can act as irrationally as they want!

That part impressed me the most, though - Hunt speculating right out loud and "on the record" that Microsoft is throwing money at this with the sole goal of undermining Blu-ray a wee bit. He even mentioned "HD DVD Evengelism" - LOL! I wonder how Amir is going to spin that.

Well, maybe Toshiba can cut the price another $100, and get Oprah to endorse it, or sumthin'

At least she can give everyone in the audience a player, some discs, and a pot.
