I've done that before.

Mostly on older movies where the pacing is slower. I watched one movie about the wife of J.S. Bach where i skipped all the interludes because they were so bad, but watched the musical sequences in regular time.

Haven't made it through any of the LOTR movies, or Harry Potter Movies....

Stopped Cloverfield the other night, but ended up finishing it, since it was so short, and I wanted to hope it had some redeeming factors (which it didn't)

Cable Guy. I love stupid humor movies, but I couldn't take this one.

Audition is a great movie by the way. Crazy, but great.

House of 1000 Corpses. I found it tedious and awesomely bad. Made it through 45 minutes before I turned it off....ended up watching bits and pieces of it over a period of weeks.

Still not the worse movie ever for me, surprisingly. That distinction falls to Ultimate Force. How I made it through that entire movie was a miracle. That should be listed as a "How not to make a movie" movie.

Oh that's what that weird pain I had a few moments ago was! I thought it was heartburn, but soulburn probably feels the same. Not everyone is the same!

I could catch a lot of flak for this since there are some Kubrick lovers out there, but A.I. made me walk out of the theater. To this day it is at the top of my list for worst movie experience. A.I. could have ended an hour earlier and 5 endings earlier, it seriously had like 4 or 5 endings where I said to myself ok great this is over....but no.

I have a problem with closure when it comes to finishing movies. I usually end up watching them no matter what, even when I can't stand them. (There is a huge list, which I won't bring up, because apparently people are easily offended when you say a movie they like sucks)

Anyway, one movie that was absolutley terrible was Dragonlance: Dragons of Autoumn Twilight. I was pretty jacked to see that they were making an animated version, because I was a huge fan of the novels (even though they are LOTR rip offs). I was so stoked that I just bought the movie without seeing it first.

It was absolutely terrible, one of the worst animated films ever made.

Let me see. There's only a few movies I couldn't finish and they are: Across The Universe, Team America: World Police (Finished it later on), Michael Clayton, The Sound of Music, Sweeney Todd, Epic Movie, Cloverfield, Scary Movie 3 & 4, and more that I can't remember.

I've seen more horrible films but I was able to keep the pressure on until the movie(s) ended.

The New World and Syriana were released in the same week. I was only able to finish The New World because I was waiting for some action but never got any. Syriana just got too boring for me because it was too political. I also couldn't finish V For Vendetta and There Will Be Blood

I wasted 8.50 to watch Superbad in theaters because I fell for all the hype around it. The movie had a horrible plot, acting, and the list goes on and on.
