This is great news, Longmire finally getting renewed for a fourth season. Hopefully (depending on how well the first and second season Blu-ray set has done in terms of sales) the Warner Archive will eventually release the third season on Blu-ray.

The first three seasons were shown first in the UK on TCM (they've also been shown on one of Five's channels). So who knows when (or if) the fourth season will be shown on UK TV? Didn't watch the third season of Longmire on TV (not because I didn't want to watch the series, far from it. There were a lot of other shows on TV at the time).

Hunt Baldwin (The Closer, Trust Me), John Coveny (The Closer, Trust Me), Greer Shephard (The Closer, Major Crimes, Nip/Tuck) and Michael M. Robin (The Closer, Major Crimes, Nip/Tuck) serve as executive producers.

It's the only one they're planning so far. I haven't heard anything regarding whether or not this will be the final season or if they're leaving it open for more.

I'm excited for the new season on Netflix.

Not sure if I'll binge the season so fast. I have so many other shows to watch and then the Fall TV season starts too. I may just pace myself.

From what I've read, the actors' contracts end after three seasons. Hopefully this show will continue to do well and they can get contracts for a couple more seasons.
