Heads Up on Amazon UK Lightning Deals - No VAT removal

There are lots of great deals happening on the Amazon UK site. Unfortunately, the deals aren't as great as we Americans are accustomed to because VAT isn't removed on the lightning deals. Since the VAT can amount to more than the sales discount, I recommend holding off and waiting for these items to go on sale during the holiday... when VAT is removed.

It's a common problem whenever they hold a sale that discounts a portion of the price, it kills the VAT discount. I suspect they know it's working like that, I guess they have to leave their British customers some deals.
