I love how they repeated the same image on every area but with different color schemes.

Which one is the variant and will the regular be available do we know? I'm more liking the full colour one over the 2 tone one.

In the Variant edition, the SteelBook is packaged in a sleeve printed with an alternative colour arrangement of Tomer’s illustrations for Boyhood, and is hand-numbered as Mondo x SteelBook #002, out of 2000 copies. The variant edition also contains a 16 page booklet containing information about the movie."

Ah! Upon closer inspection, I do see the slip box covering the Steel now. Thanks!

I like the artwork, but why repeat it 3 times: steelbook outer, steelbook inner, slipbox?

I was hoping the rest of the artwork would lure me in.

Really wanted the whole line and this one is awesome but $35 + super pricey Canada Post = more expensive than Blufans .... well ... thank you but no thank you

So I guess I missed this then? Was there a limit of the number you could order? With such a low print run they should have place a limit of 1 per person. Ridiculous that this was only available for 8 hours. So if you have work/school you are basically out of luck.

Though I am hoping that the listing was a mistake and that is why the link was taken down and that it will be up again eventually. Cause it was kind of odd that they started taking pre-orders for #002 before #001.
