Stream media files from PC to PS3? - Blu-ray Forum

Is there a way to stream media files from the PC to PS3? I know you can do it with a mac with media link, is there a similar program for the PC?

PS3 Tutorial for Tversity Media Server

...windows media player is fairly simple also, you just go into sharing options in the Library and allow the PS3 to share.

I was using windows media player, but found some of my files would not play...Tversity transcodes on the fly so most any and all files will play.

also make sure in the PS3 settings you enable Media Server option.

XMB: Settings > Network Settings > Media Server Connection > Enable

...tell the PS3 to search for Media Servers

Library > Media Sharing > Allow

Yeah I meant that rather than using Tversity which seems extremely complex to set up and all...

question...when I try to allow WMA playback, I get a DNS error....what does that mean?!
