New video showing only the cutscenes from the beginning of the game in English! So no gameplay. Enjoy!

That video is pretty much the same thing as that 1st 10 minutes video that you posted recently, but except adds an extra 7 minutes of new material that wasn't in the previous video.

So basically it's absolutely nothing like the previous video he posted?

I think I played an Atelier Iris game for some time and stopped but no idea why
I never wanted to play Rorona because of the time constraint thing where you have to split your time between fighting and synthetizing, found this a horrible concept

Did any of you get the limited edition of Rorona? Trying to decide if it's worth the extra money or not.

I have the collector's edition. It came with an artbook, which I've never looked at. I bought it when it came out and the cost was that of any other game. Would I pay more than $60 for the collector's edition? Not a chance.

Extra money? It was released as a Gamestop exclusive that goes for $40 these days($60 when it 1st came out). There was also the NISA Store Premium Edition with artbook and soundtrack, but did not come with the nice box Gamestop got. So I bought both versions for the nice box, and the soundtrack.

I do enjoy the soundtrack. I am looking forward to Totori's soundtrack as well.

4.5/5 score is definitely not bad at all.

I say extra money because there's a regular version(totori) with just the game for 45. So it is technically extra money. Think I'll go ahead and get it for the soundtrack anyway...usually art books bundled with games are not great but review seems pretty positive.

Another review!

http://www.gamertell.com/technologyt...or-ps3-review/

Quote:
Pros: You get more time to play (five years versus three in Atelier Rorona), lots of characters from Atelier Rorona return, all recipe books are immediately available in shops, much easier to synthesis weapons and armor, locations are wide open to explore, jumping actually services a purpose with some very mild platforming in certain spots, you don’t have to pay people to adventure with Totori, you can see task due dates under the clock on the main screen and you have multiple Homs to help with gathering and creating. Battles go much smoother. There are also multiple endings.

Cons: Some of the voice acting may scar your ears (Peter), difficulty level for battles jumps after you reach Arland and after you build the boat, can be quite difficult to earn money and only equipped items and money carries over for New Game+. Also, you don’t get to make items that speed up traveling until late in the game.

Overall Score: Two thumbs up, 90/100, A-, * * * * out of 5

I just got my copy of the Premium Edition today. NISA apparently had a few problems while they were shipping copies of both versions of the game and so got a slight delay for all retailers who would be carrying it.

The Premium Edition is very standard size. But at least the soundtrack comes in a cd case and a softcover artbook.

I went to pick my copy up and they didn't have it! They said it is due to arrive tomorrow afternoon (Monday). I asked them why they left a message saying they had it, they said I should have not received a call.

Well I ordered my copy from the NIS America Online Store for the really nice poster you get.

Picked this game back up today. I'm pretty close to the end. Year four, Feb 16th. Already got my diamond license. Just doing quests and making good gear in prep for the last half now. I seriously love this game. My first Atelier.
