I would love to have at least the first one out on Blu Ray ... a set would be nice but they would prob not do sep. cover art for each one .. if they did it would be cool to get the original cover art for each film.

even Part 2?!?

how can we collectively forget that film and force it into non-existance if we put it out on Blu?

we dare not unleash that on this new generation.

Yes, I liked them all, which is a rare opinion.

I own them all on regular DVD, but I'd probably on splurge to buy the original and New Nightmare on Blu. The rest range from mediocre to really bad (in part 2's case). Plus, New Line has a reputation for solid Blu Ray transfers so I'd definitely buy the original when it's released on Blu. I think it's only a matter of time before it finds its release.

Why do people hate that one so much? Parts 5 and 6 are far worse, IMO.

my faves are 1, 3, 4, and 7 is interesting, but falls a short of its concept's potential.

Hhhmmm would be nice I guess but there are a couple of the movies that are very bad.

The Dream Child and Dream Master for example... not sure I could sit through those again. And of yeah... Fredy's Dead... awful as well.

That would be awesome... I have the entire collection with the embossed freddy kreuger face & claws, etc. I remember as a kid it was scary as hell, but nowadays, it's just... well... funny. LOL.

Default Chances of complete Nightmare on Elm Street set next year?

With the original Elm Street coming out on Blu and Freddy Vs Jason on its (proper) way, are you guys waiting for a complete Blu set rather than getting individual releases?

The DVD set was outstanding and i would love to see this carried over to Blu with the addition of FvJ. With the remake coming next April, is it a given that we will see a complete Blu set to coincide?

I bet the individual releases will be out before the box set. It will be a long time before that happens.

This would be nice, but i would imagine like the Ft13th films we'll get them one at a time over the course of 2 years or so

The first film is already on bluray up here in canada, but i refuse to buy one of those alliance hack jobs, i've been more then happy to wait for WB to issue a real version of the movie

if they do decide to issue a box set, i really hope they mimic the DVD spine art...i loved that it lined up to show freddy
