Default Some Speaker Help

Some of the movies I've been playing have all of the dialogue coming from my rear surround speakers instead of my center speaker. Just started doing this out of the blue, is it the movie's I'm watching, or is something not right. Haven't changed any settings or anything.

Oops, forgot to mention it's on my other system, a Yamaha HTIB I moved to my living room. I had to change it from surround to Stereo because it was driving my kids crazy.

if it's a kid's room, check the settings...... I couldn't figure out for the life of me why there was NO DIALOG at the beginning of "I Am Legend" I had never seen the movie, and Will Smith is walking down the road, and it's all pretty quiet........ and then he starts talking to people etc... and it's silent.... and I'm thinking "is this some kind of director's artistic expression" sure enough while my wife and I were gone, the daughter of the nanny (it was before my kid could crawl) had turned it on, hit buttons, etc.... and I've found the settings "off" about 2 or 3 times since..... moving to a dedicated theater room REALLY SOON..... just got my projector today, and utilities in the new house turned on.... can't wait to get my precious speakers and components to a safe location!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Definitley try different discs of different types.
Then move back from there.

Think about how your signal travels and follow it.

Does it go through any splitters or channel changers or relays??

Check the settings on your Receiver.

I checked all of my wires, and everything is hooked up the same, it only does it on certain discs, so, I don't understand that. I thought maybe my HTIB can't process the newer audio on some discs.
