where can I buy a 7.1 channel blu-ray movie or a demo disk? - Blu-ray Forum

I would like to purchase a blue ray disk with 7.1 channel audio to test my setup. I dont mind buying a demo disk. Please let me know if they are out in the market. Thanks jamse

what does your "setup" consist of?

3:10 to Yuma is 7.1 PCM. Just watched it (again) tonight I think it'll pass. Great western.

my system consits of Denon 4306 and 5.1 Richter. I need to get anoter two speakers. These are discontined model. If I could not get a 7.1 dvd then it was not worth purchasing it.

"The Ultimate Avengers 1 & 2", "Doctor Strange", and the upcoming "The Invincible Iron Man" and "Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow" all have 7.1 surround as well.

There are a few that are nice 7.1 audio demo movies. Rambo, War, Saw IV, Shoot em Up, and Pan's Labyrinth to name a few.

The Aussie version is only TrueHD not 7.1 DTSHD-MA, as is 3:10 to Yuma, only 7.1 Blu-ray over here is Rouge Assassin (War). Got me stumped why they only give us that Audio track, unlike the States

3.10 to Yuma U.S. version is 7.1
Rambo 2008 U.S version is 7.1
Both in Aus are 5.1 because we always get screwed here!
Good thing is they are both region free so get them from Amazon.com
it takes a couple of weeks but it is worth the wait.
I would suggest you buy all your Blu-ray's from Amazon if they are region free and bugger the Aus releases.
They screwed us with DVD for year's (next to no DTS) and if they think they can screw us with no Audio choice on a $44 disc they can think again!
