I like the poster art. I actually own the one-sheet for this one.

The UK is wayyyy better than the US. The US is a smeary DNR fest, and is dark on top of that. The UK video transfer is considerably better. Though I own the US BD and... UK HD DVD, so I got the pitch issue with my copy. Sounds a little funny. I believe the audio on the UK BD is fixed.

I don't like the cover at all I would like it better if she was looking forward instead of eyes closed lighting a cigarette.

I remember this was the only movie that I was absolutely not allowed to watch when I was a kid. The Shining, Motel Hell, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Die Hard, Lethal Weapon? Sure.....but never this one. I had a friend who had the tape and let me use it. I was 13 when this came out and needless to say, I was at a prime age to enjoy Sharon Stones performance.

I remember watching this on a USA version of laserdisc and it was heavily cut.

I wouldn't mind watching the uncut version again.. I remember it in the cinema it had loads more graphic scenes.

People are buying this steelbook to see the inside.

And yes that is correct on the time conversion.

I like the idea of "Exclusive Artwork" or whatever it is, but why change an original artwork when it was perfect?

The original poster is beautiful and iconic, the idea of using a picture from the most known scene of the movie is cheap but it could work, unfortunately this picture has nothing beautiful, it's just a random shot (her expression, the way she take the phone in her hand... And what is with all the smoke behind her? I can't remember the Police Station was on fire...)

I used to have the italian DVD steelbook of it... there's the original artwork and instead of using white they printed it with the original metal as background... it was rather good.

Well, I was waiting for this and I am deceived... But I love this movie so much so I will take it, hoping that in presence it will look better (I still have to buy the one for "The Others" for the same reason...)

May actually be worst artwork I have ever seen on a steelbook cover. Gag. Worse than Princess Bride.

What a let down 1 second after I read the thread title... I love this film.
