Any chance of a trailer/clip of the new restoration, Michael? That looks like a revelation.
And when it comes to more Borowczyk, I'd most like a collection of the Polish shorts and La Marge. I'm sure Arrow have thought about the latter already though, but whether music rights would be an insurmountable obstacle I don't know. |

They were probably trying to work out what Patrick Magee was on...

I'm extremely excited about the upcoming blu ray of "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Miss Osbourne". I still have an old VHS version which is practically on its last legs and recently seeing a glimpse of the Arrow restoration was wonderful indeed. Michael, sorry to change the subject, but seeing as how Argos Films have produced some of finest Borowcyzk movies, any chance of seeing Argos produced titles like Shuji Terayama's "Fruits of Passion" or Volker Schlondorff's "Circle of Deceit" in the future?

That is great news actually, I have always liked The Bloodbath of Dr. Jekyll (I don't care what it was originally called I will always regard it as The Bloodbath of Dr. Jekyll) and I have been looking forward to Arrow's release (really pleased the BBFC left it intact) since they announced it (Yay! We will actually be able to see what is happening during that opening sequence) but was disappointed with the extra's, I have no interest in short films or interviews with people that had nothing to do with the film in question (not that those are not worthwhile as I am sure a lot of effort went into them but those sort of features are not for me) so that new Udo Kier interview is much appreciated. I just hope he is in a better mood than when he recorded his interview for Mark of the Devil as he looks like he wants to be anywhere but there and is quite rude complaining that he has been there for twenty minutes when he originally agreed to be there for fifteen... maybe he was having a bad day?
